Dallas Mechanical Group, Inc. (DMG) designed and built a complete HVAC system—featuring advanced kitchen exhaust equipment, the latest in infrared heaters, and more—for the fire station serving Dallas’ Cypress Waters neighborhood.
Client Objectives
The station required a mechanical contractor who could deliver end-to-end HVAC and mechanical solutions in a timely manner.
Solutions
During the project, DMG provided and installed the following:
- Five rooftop units
- Two ductless split systems
- 11 exhaust fans
- One kitchen exhaust fan
- One kitchen hood
- One kitchen supply fan
- Five electric unit heaters
- Three gas-fired infrared heaters
- Four gas unit heaters
- 18 louvers with motorized dampers
- Four louvers to Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) standards
Additionally, our scope of work also included the diffusers, ductwork (grease and aluminum included), and a state-of-the-art energy management system.
Client Background
One of the newest stations in the region, Dallas Fire Station #58 is a fully-staffed fire rescue station serving the rapidly developing Cypress Waters neighborhood.
