VRF Systems

We were one of the first HVAC companies in Texas to install variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems and have extensive experience with this technology. VRF systems utilize inverter compressors which operate at variable speeds to help generate more consistent temperatures and humidity levels while yielding superior energy efficiency. VRF installations also typically take up less space, offering greater design flexibility.

Chilled Water Systems

Chilled water systems provide cooling by pumping cold water through the coils of an air handler, cooling the air and removing humidity. The water then circulates through the loop, returning to the chiller where it is again cooled. This solid, dependable technology helps provide efficient cooling for buildings of all sizes.

Water Source Heat Pumps

In applications where there’s a simultaneous need for heating and cooling throughout much of the year, water source heat pumps are among the most efficient, economical, and environmentally friendly options. These units extract heat from water, transferring it from where it’s not needed to where it is to help minimize energy usage.

Vertical Package Units

Also known in the industry as SCUD units, we often utilize vertical package units when chilled water systems are not an option (due to budget constraints or other factors). This system utilizes water stored in a cooling tower as a condenser, instead of the hot Texas summertime air, which helps create an extremely efficient system.

DX Air-Cooled Split Systems

Typically used for smaller buildings or rooms on a single floor, direct expansion (DX) systems use refrigerant in the coil of the air handling unit to provide cooling. While it isn’t always practical to extend refrigerant piping across long distances, these units do generate high cooling efficiency for the right kinds of applications.

DX Air-Cooled Rooftop Systems

The most common application used today for commercial cooling and heating is the DX air-cooled rooftop system. These packaged systems combine both the air handler and the condenser into one unit. Units are available in both single-zone and variable air volume configurations.
