Dallas Mechanical Group, Inc. provided demolition and HVAC equipment installation services during the renovation of Bank of America’s second largest office location. The project was part of a larger sustainability effort by Bank of America and featured the installation of cutting-edge, energy-efficient sustainable climate controls.
Client Objectives
This project was completed in the context of a company-wide campaign by Bank of America to reach carbon neutrality, which included renovating three office buildings with infrastructure that maintains a carbon-zero footprint.
Solutions
Our scope of work included commercial HVAC services across three buildings, totaling 743,000 square feet.
For Building A, we:
- Demolished one chilled-water air handler and water lines
- Provided and installed 15 new fan-powered boxes
- Installed 12 variable air volume systems
For Building B, we:
- Replaced 720 supply air grilles for use with new omni-style diffusers
- Removed a computer room air conditioning unit
For Building C, we:
- Demolished existing fan-powered boxes, ductwork, and diffusers
- Provided and installed 27 new fan-powered boxes
- Installed state-of-the-art, high-efficiency energy management controls for the 27 new fan-powered boxes
